Rube Goldberg Project

The Rube Goldberg was a really stressful and hard project for me personally, mainly because of the group that I was with. We had many, many struggles, and we were falling apart within the first week. And even though it was particularly hard to work with this group, i think that we learned at lot, depending on your perspective. I am proud of the things that i learned like how to effectively communicate, and how to work with people that I think are difficult. And in the end I'm not the proudest of what we made, but like i said, the personal skills that we all developed will stick with me for a long time, even after this year is over.

ANSWER to question:

Potential energy:

First you convert your Mass, Gravity, and Height to Kilograms.

PE: {0.007kg}{9.81 Meters Per second}{o.5 M}= 0.054335 KG m2/s2= 0.034335Joules

Kinetic energy:

KE: 1/2m (2)

0.00070875Joules

Conclusion:

Moving forward, I would like to be better at communicating with people that I find difficult, and not shut down and learn to push though. My resolution for something to work on for the second semester is initiative, and I feel that another thing that I can do is try to make peace with the group, instead of getting frustrated.I personally believe that my group learned so much because it was so difficult, so this project for me was about learning some soft skills. I think that I demonstrated creativity because we had limited materials, so we had to get creative about how we pieced together the rube and made it cohesive

Trebuchet

1. We chose mid evil Ireland as our time period, and i was the person in my group that was partially in charge of our groups  aesthetic, and my approach to trying to bring through this time period was I cut Popsicle sticks in  half and made a stone effect to make the staffs that held up the arm look like two castles holding it up. I think that the idea is really good and I loved it, but I really thing that there are things that I could have done to make it more polished like make sure you couldn't see hot glue, or cut the Popsicle sticks instead of break them.

2. I feel that the strongest 21st century I used while we did this project was creativity. Because I was absent for the majority of the project build time, so the aesthetic was what I decided to take up, and I had to think of multiple different ways that we could make the staffs look like castles, and not red solo cups. And the thing that I think that I can still grow in is collaboration, because I had limited time, I kind of went off and did my own thing and I am thankful for my group for letting me do that, but if I were to do this project again, I would want them to be more evolved in the prossess of the aesthetic
